FAQ
Custom Patches FAQ
Ordering
How do I start a custom patches order?
Fill in our quote form with your patch type, size, quantity and backing, and upload your artwork. Our team reviews it and replies with a quote. Once you accept, we send a digital proof for approval.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimums depend on the patch type, size and backing. Add your quantity to the quote form and we will confirm what works for your project.
How long does it take to get my custom patches?
Most orders are delivered in about 7 days after you approve your proof. Larger quantities can take up to 10 days. If you have a deadline, add your required delivery date to the quote form and we will confirm it with your quote.
Can I order patches in different designs at once?
Yes. List each design in the quote form or upload up to three files. If you have more designs, mention it in the instructions and we will collect the rest by email.
Artwork and proofs
What artwork files do you accept?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) are best. However, high-resolution PNG and JPG files work too. If you only have a sketch, send it anyway and describe your idea.
Will I see my patch before it is made?
Yes. You receive a digital proof that shows the size, colors and border, usually the same working day. Production starts only after you approve it, so you stay in control.
Can you match my brand colors?
Yes. Send Pantone codes or a color reference with your artwork. Thread and PVC colors are matched to the closest available shade and shown on your proof.
Can you help design my patch?
Our team can clean up rough artwork and adjust details so they stitch well. For tips before you start, read how to design a custom patch.
Patch options
Which patch type should I choose?
Embroidered patches suit most logos. Woven patches handle tiny text, PVC resists water and wear, and chenille gives a soft varsity look. Compare them in our types of patches guide.
What is the difference between merrowed and heat-cut borders?
A merrowed border wraps thick thread around the edge and suits simple shapes like circles and shields. A heat-cut border is sealed with heat, so it can follow detailed custom outlines.
Which backing is best?
Sew-on is most durable. Iron-on is quick for cotton and blends, while hook-and-loop lets you swap patches on uniforms and gear. See the full patch backing comparison.
How big should my patch be?
It depends on placement. Hat fronts usually take 2 to 3 inches, chests and shoulders 3 to 4 inches, and jacket backs 10 inches or more. Our size and shape guide explains how to choose.
Shipping and reorders
Do you ship anywhere in the United States?
Yes. We ship orders to addresses across the United States with tracking. Delivery options are confirmed with your quote. See our shipping policy.
Can I reorder the same patches later?
Yes. We keep your approved design on file, so reorders match the original. Simply mention your previous order when you request a new quote.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Contact us right away with photos. If a defect comes from production, we will work with you to fix it. Read our returns policy for the details.
